If the team you backed concedes a goal, the price on them will usually get longer, and the price on the other side shorter. The new price is not a verdict, only the latest guess.
Many people think a long price after a bad moment is a bargain. Sometimes it is not: the team may simply be having a bad day. A lower price is not automatically a better chance.

Pictures on a screen can arrive a little later than the real event, and a streaming service may be later still.
